Naturopaths are trained in nutritional supplements and herbal medicine to administer correct usage, dosage, as well as be aware of any interactions and side effects.  In addition, LNM has access to professional grade supplements that have been reviewed not only by the manufacturer but also by the distributor; ensuring quality and content of every product used to support your well being.  LNM makes supplements available directly to patients in the office, or via our online dispensary.

Although there may be some overlap in brand names you can purchase over the counter or online as opposed to LNM, you can be confident that what you purchase through our office is of the highest quality and absorbable. In addition, since the supplements are prescribed to you, you do not pay sales tax. All supplements and herbal medicine purchased also receive a 10% discount.

Goji berry, Hawthorn berry, Hibiscus flower and Elderberry

Goji Berry These berries contain healthy antioxidants. Antioxidants are known for their immuneboosting qualities and their ability to fight harmful free radicals and inflammation.


Goji berries contain large amounts of vitamins A and C and iron rich. Vitamins A and C are vital for building immunity and preventing illnesses, ranging from the common cold to cancer.


Hawthorne Berry Loaded with polyphenols it can reduce fluid buildup, which means it can also improve symptoms of congestive heart failure. Research has shown that the plant’s nutrients increase urinary excretion and flow. Hawthorn berries can also act as diuretics and may help treat kidney problems.


Hibiscus A flower High in antioxidants including Vitamin C. It has been shown in studies to reduce blood pressure and lower blood cholesterol levels. Also a good source of iron. Like the rich red color it exudes, it is a heart lover in all ways!


Elderberry It’s not a party without Elderberry! A staple in the fall and winter as an immune booster! Loaded in antioxidants, it too has a big heart (affinity), supports healthy digestion, and decreases inflammation, stress and headaches.


Cleavers Leaf It enhances the function of the lymphatic system and improves its ability to flush out toxins, decrease congestion and reduce swelling . The lymph-cleansing action of this herb in turn enhances the function of the immune system.

• 1 TBSP of the combined herbs

• Pour 12 - 16 oz boiling water  over herbs

• Cover and steep 15 mins.

• Strain and serve.


Serve hot or cold, drink 1 - 2 cups before 2:00pm You can continue to reuse the herb the same day, just add more hot water to the herbs Discard herbs at the end of day. The tea can be saved in the fridgerator, in a tightly closed jar, for up to 3 days
