Naturopathic Medicine
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct system of primary health care - the practice of preventing, diagnosing and treating conditions of the human mind + body. Whether the patient has an acute or chronic illness, treatments are aimed to restore health and set a protocol to bolster the immune system. People visit naturopathic practitioners for various health-related purposes, including primary care, overall well-being, and treatment of illnesses. In the United States, naturopathy is practiced by naturopathic physicians, traditional naturopaths, and other health care providers who also offer naturopathic services.
Naturopathic physicians generally complete a 4-year, graduate-level program at one of the North American naturopathic medical schools accredited by the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education, an organization recognized for accreditation purposes by the U.S. Department of Education. Some U.S. states and territories have licensing requirements for naturopathic physicians; others don’t. In those jurisdictions that have licensing requirements, naturopathic physicians must graduate from a 4-year naturopathic medical college and pass an examination to receive a license. They must also fulfill annual continuing education requirements. (source: National Institute of Health/National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health).
We aim to address each individual’s root cause of illness while taking the time to listen. We also deliver a customized care plan based on patient needs. Peeling back the layers of chronic illness takes patience on your part and good tools on the doctor’s part. The following are examples of treatments that Lobo utilizes.

Craniosacral

CST is a gentle hands on therapy that is administered with the client fully clothed, laying face up on a massage table. It addresses mental, emotional and physical disorders by focusing on the cranial sacral fluid made in the brain. This fluid creates a rhythm that resonates throughout the body much like meridian points in Chinese medicine.
This subtle therapy release blockages and tension that allows the body to resume a normal rhythm. Treatment results in decreased pain, increased relaxation, and greater range of motion just to name a few. CST is effective in treating many conditions; the list below is just an example:
-
Chronic pain, allergies or digestive issues
-
Headaches, migraines
-
Head trauma & PTSD
-
Autoimmune diseases such as arthritis, lupus
-
Stress relief
-
Muscle or joint pain such as TMJ
-
Postpartum adjustment for both mother and baby
Intravenous Therapy (IV) & Intramuscular Injections (IM)
The Goal for IV or IM Therapy is to provide nutrients directly into the body, bypassing the digestive system.
When any area of the digestive tract is struggling, nutrient distribution to the body suffers.

Lab Evaluation
LNM utilizes diagnostic labs that will provide information used to target treatment. Our first line of inquiry is routine labs that provide overall function of organ systems including blood, liver, kidneys, lipids, and thyroid.
From there, if necessary, specialty labs can help discover the root cause of disease.
-
DNA/Gene alterations (SNP’s) that impede normal physiological processes throughout the body
-
Metabolic and neurotransmitter dysfunctions that affect energy production and mental health.
-
Environmental and chemical insults that overwhelm the gut and nervous system
Infrared Sauna Therapy
IR sauna penetrates the skin deeper than the traditional sauna using safe, low-frequency infrared lamps. This increases circulation, detoxifies, heal decreases pain, promotes healing and relaxes the body. The heat on the skin and air that you breathe is more tolerable while at the same time a greater amount of heat is penetrating the body, which increases circulation.

Homeopathy
Homeopathy was developed in Germany by Samuel Hanneman in the 18th century. It's primary principal is "like treats like". It can have a profound effect on a person from acute to chronic and from psycho-emotional to physical.
As a practitioner trained in constitutional homeopathy I will conduct an extensive interview with the patient. A remedy is then chosen that most closely matched the patient’s symptoms, personality, and characteristics, right down to food preferences or aversions! This thorough intake allows a carefully chosen remedy to be administered; usually a single dose, in small pellet form under the tongue of the patient.
Over time, which can be hours to weeks, the symptoms recede from most recently occurring to older more chronic issues. The usual follow up occurs between 6 to 8 weeks. At which time another dosage may be given or not depending on how well symptoms are receding. In some cases an entirely new remedy may be given if there are symptoms new to consider.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy can be used to decrease chronic pain, reverse debilitating habits such as smoking, or overeating by tapping into the root cause of the behavior. But it doesn’t end there, it can help build the new improved you as well; by introducing and reinforcing positive behavior.
During a hypnotherapy session, the client is comfortably reclined; in a relaxed state that allows him/her to be in communication with the practitioner the entire time.
Here is a list of common conditions hypnotherapy can be used for:
-
Alcohol, smoking or drug addiction
-
Overeating and other food disorders
-
Chronic pain
-
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
-
Phobias, anxiety attack
-
Improve performance; athletic, public speaking, etc.
